Choosing the right boiler for your home

The best boiler is the one that suits your house and how you live in it, not the one with the biggest number on the box. We look at your hot water demand, mains pressure, radiator sizes and where the boiler and flue can go.

• System boilers — work with a hot water cylinder, better for busy households with several bathrooms

How the installation works

First we visit and survey the property, then send you a written quote covering the boiler, the work and everything included. Nothing changes on the day unless you ask for it.

On installation day we protect your floors and work areas, remove the old boiler, fit and commission the new one, balance the system and test everything with you before we leave. We take the old unit and all rubbish away with us.

Finally we register the boiler with the manufacturer, hand over the paperwork and show you how the controls work.

Getting the most from a new boiler

A new boiler will cut your gas use, but the biggest gains come from the whole system working properly. Where it is needed we will recommend flushing the system, fitting a magnetic filter, or upgrading tired controls so the new boiler is not fighting old problems.

Book the first annual service a year after installation and the warranty stays valid, and the boiler keeps running at its best.
